Steve Riley, Director
In 2003 Steve Riley joined the partnership and took over the firm when John Lundon retired in 2007.
Steve is a solicitor and can help you with conveyancing, subdivision, estate planning, business and commercial matters, and advice involving vineyards.
Steve’s enjoyment in working with our clients is in finding solutions and practical outcomes. Steve has an easy and straightforward communication style. He focuses on each client and will ensure you understand the process and know where things are heading.
Laura McFarlane, Director
Laura became a director of Lundons Law in April 2018. She is a solicitor and can help you with conveyancing, subdivision, estate and succession planning and relationship property.
Laura finds great enjoyment in working with clients to achieve their objectives, and she prides herself on helping clients navigate legal issues with as little stress as possible. Creating open pathways where clients are given the confidence to ask questions, no matter how small, is key to Laura’s client-centred approach.
Simon Gaines, Director
Solicitor & Litigator
Simon brings experience and expertise in the area of litigation/dispute resolution to Lundons Law. Most disputes are resolved before they go to court. In the event an early resolution isn’t achievable, Simon appears in the District Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal, Tribunals, resource management local government hearings, and the Environment Court.
Simon can help you with resource management, resolving disputes, representation in court, estates administration and with separation/divorce and agreements for the division of relationship property.
Kristin joined Lundons Law as a solicitor in 2019. She is a third generation Marlburian, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, and within the community.
Kristin’s pragmatic approach is essential in working with our clients to achieve their goals.

Dianne is our receptionist and manages our trust account. Dianne has a wealth of experience and is a valued member of our team who is the first point of contact for all calls and visits to the office. She is approachable and welcoming.
Vanessa is a legal assistant who has worked with the firm for 18 years. She is efficient, practical and diligent. She ensures that all documentation is prepared quickly and accurately. Vanessa largely works with conveyancing matters and her knowledge in this area is an asset to our team.
Vicky is a registered legal executive. Her key practice areas are trusts and estates which she administers with an eye for detail and precision. Vicky is friendly and empathetic which is essential when helping people through a difficult time in their lives.
Jo is a legal executive who works predominantly in conveyancing. With a degree in resource management she is thorough and focused. Jo is friendly and generous with her time. She assists in the preparation of accurate documentation to facilitate the smooth completion of matters for clients.
