About Lundons

Established in 1991 by solicitor John Lundon, Lundons Law in Blenheim provides practical legal advice and advocacy for a range of legal services.


Our role is to assist you in realizing your goals and ambitions through providing informed solutions to legal problems.  We believe in straightforward and open communication and treating our clients with respect.

In 2003 Steve Riley joined the partnership, and took over the firm in 2007 when John Lundon retired.


Steve’s specialties include estate planning, commercial law, transactional advice involving vineyards, and commercial and residential conveyancing.


Steve’s enjoyment in working with our clients is in finding solutions and practical outcomes.  Steve’s satisfaction in his work comes from his client’s satisfaction in the outcome.


Steve has an easy and straightforward communication.  He focuses on the client and ensures they understand the process and know where things are heading.

Simon is the latest partner to join Lundons Law and brings experience and expertise in the area of dispute resolution.


Simon appears in the District Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal, Tribunals, resource management local government hearings, and the Environment Court.


The advice he draws on includes previous business experience in Fonterra,  land development engineering consultancy; resource management and conservation management; property and infrastructure/utility management; and environmental policy.


Simon has qualifications in law, management and economics.  He is the current President of the Marlborough Branch of the New Zealand Law Society; Board member of the Marlborough Community Law Centre; and a founding Trustee of the Marlborough Community Mediation Trust, incorporated to promote mediation and dispute resolution within the Marlborough region

Laura joined the firm after graduating from the University of Canterbury in 2013.  Her areas of interest and expertise include conveyancing, commercial law, estate and succession planning, and relationship property.


Laura finds great enjoyment in working with clients to achieve their objectives, and she prides herself on assisting clients to navigate legal issues with as little stress as possible. Creating open pathways where clients are given the confidence to ask questions, no matter how small, is key to Laura’s client-centred approach.
